Our Clinical Practice
Pediatrix Medical Group of Texas - San Antonio - has been caring for newborns for more than a quarter century. Our group currently serves in 12 NICUs (Levels I-III A/C) in San Antonio and the surrounding area, and cares for more than 185 newborns each day.  Our practice is focused on clinical quality improvement and is engaged in workgroups, identifying best processes in a variety of neonatal care areas. Our services include high frequency ventilation, ECMO and iNO. Our practice is supported by comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical services, including cardiac and neurosurgery, perinatology, an active transport program, and integrated developmental pediatrics practice. Each hospital system benefits from a designated physician-NNP coverage team and our talented team of NNPs act as true physician extenders and are engaged in teaching opportunities within the hospital setting.
